ExceLance, based in Livonia since 2011, is a K-12 educational data consulting firm that builds custom reports, data analyses, and automation tools to help school districts, charter schools, and educational authorizers make sense of academic, finance, and compliance data. The firm is run by founder Michael Lance, who combines data science expertise with an educator's background.
