Franklin Basketball Too Much For Clarenceville 70–24 in Livonia Matchup

LIVONIA12/10/2025

The Franklin Patriots powered to a commanding 70–24 victory over the Clarenceville Trojans Tuesday night, delivering a decisive performance marked by relentless defense and sharp outside shooting.

The non-conference matchup, held at Clarenceville High School, quickly swung in Franklin’s favor as the Patriots opened the game with intense full-court pressure that Clarenceville struggled to overcome.

A Game Defined by Defense and Turnovers

Franklin’s defense controlled the pace from the opening tip. Continuous double teams forced Clarenceville into frequent turnovers, limiting the Trojans’ ability to set up quality shots. With few clean looks at the basket, Clarenceville found themselves trailing early and unable to shift momentum.

As turnovers piled up, Franklin capitalized—converting steals into fast-break points and consistently hitting from beyond the arc. The Patriots knocked down multiple threes throughout the night, stretching their lead quarter by quarter.
