Livonia Stevenson Boys Basketball Update 12/31/2025
LIVONIA — 12/31/2025
As the calendar flips to 2026, the Livonia Stevenson Spartans find themselves at a crossroads. Currently sitting at 3-4, the Spartans have shown they can be a dangerous offensive unit, but consistency remains the primary target. After a dominant 64-37 league win over Fordson in mid-December, the team hit a rough patch during the holiday break, dropping contests to Walled Lake Central and a powerhouse Detroit Loyola squad.
The road ahead doesn't get easier. The Spartans will spend much of early January on the bus, with crucial away games at rival Churchill and Dearborn. These matchups will likely decide if Stevenson can climb into the top half of the conference standings before the state tournament draw in February. With Aziz providing a presence in the paint and Woods directing the perimeter, the Spartans have the tools to make a late-season surge.
