LIVONIA10/18/2025

LIVONIA, MI – The Livonia Franklin High School Cheerleading team is having a highly productive fall season, marked by significant advancements across all aspects of the sport. While cheerleading doesn't track traditional sports statistics, Head Coach Molly Clark reports that the squad is "leveling up" with high energy and consistent improvement as the season progresses.

Gaining Strength and Mastering New Skills

The team's dedication in practice is translating into measurable progress on the mat, particularly in key technical areas.

  • Tumbling: The squad continues to see strong improvements in tumbling, with athletes obtaining more difficult and new skills.
  • Stunting: Coach Clark noted that the girls are growing stronger in stunting each week, a testament to their focus on technique, strength, and teamwork.

This commitment to mastering more advanced techniques bodes well for the team's competitive routines in the weeks to come.

High Spirits Drive Late-Season Success

Beyond the technical improvements, the team is maintaining a crucial ingredient for success: a strong mental game.

"Spirits are high and the girls continue to maintain a positive energy as we get later in the season," said Clark. This positive atmosphere is essential for tackling the demanding schedule of late-season practices and competitions.

The overall goal remains centered on continuous growth, with the squad hoping to "continue to improve each week and get stronger as a team." Coach Clark concluded by expressing immense pride in her team's work ethic and achievements.
