The Livonia Churchill Chargers girls varsity basketball team has faced a rigorous opening month for the 2025-26 season. Competing in a series of non-conference matchups and early league contests, the Chargers have tested their young roster against some of the region's most established programs.
Most recently, the team showed significant grit in a defensive battle against Flat Rock on December 29th, pushing the game into overtime before ultimately falling 57-25. While the scoreboard has yet to turn in their favor, the Chargers' ability to compete in high-pressure environments late in the month suggests a team finding its identity as they prepare for the heart of the KLAA schedule in January.
