Family Fun and Spooky Delights in Livonia

Kicking off the local festivities, the Wilson Barn (29350 W. Chicago) will once again host its popular Pumpkin Fest and Haunted Barn Stroll*throughout the weekend. From 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, families can enjoy vendors, food trucks, hay rides, and a petting zoo. For a touch of spooky fun, the Haunted Barn Stroll opens from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM daily with a mere $1 admission.

For those looking for active fun, Bicentennial Park in Livonia will host a Co-Ed 4’s Soccer/Rec Tournament on Saturday, October 18th, starting at 9:00 AM, organized by Gunter Tournaments. And if you're feeling energetic on Sunday, October 19th, 4 Star Strength (12620 Newburgh Rd) invites you to their BOO BASH ’25, a ticketed fitness and community event running from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Looking for something unique? Next Level Studio (28851 Plymouth Rd) offers a "Whip & Sip Experience" on Saturday, October 18th, starting at 6:00 PM. On Friday, October 17th, the Livonia Franklin Varsity Football team will face off against Livonia Churchill High School at Churchill's stadium (8900 Newburgh Rd). Kickoff is slated for 7:00 PM. Meanwhile, Livonia Churchill High School will also host its Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 18th, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM for its students.

Collegiate athletics in and around Livonia promise excitement. Madonna University Football will play a Home Game on Saturday, October 18th, against Indiana Wesleyan University. Kickoff is at 12:00 PM at Livonia Stevenson High School's Lester C. Anders Field. Madonna's soccer teams will be on the road on Saturday, October 18th, with the Women's Soccer team playing at Lawrence Tech (Mich.) at 4:00 PM, followed by the Men's Soccer team at the same location at 7:00 PM. On Sunday, October 19th, Madonna University Reserve Volleyball will compete as part of the WHAC Tournament Reserve at 10:00 AM.
