Churchill Cross Country: Historic 2025 Season Sends Both Teams to States

Season in brief
Churchill High School’s cross country program delivered one of its most memorable seasons in 2025. Both the boys and girls teams went undefeated in KLAA East competition (8–0), won the LPS City Championship, and qualified for the MHSAA Division 1 State Championships — the first time both teams have advanced to States together since 2006. Coach Sara Kroll credited teamwork, depth, and leadership across the roster for the run of success.
