From historical reenactments and fire safety demonstrations to high-energy concerts, collegiate matchups, and beloved fall festivals, the weekend of September 27–28, 2025 promises entertainment for every interest and age group.
A Step Back in Time: Civil War Experience Returns to Greenmead
History buffs and families alike can immerse themselves in the past at The American Civil War Experience, returning to Greenmead Historical Park for a two-day living history event. Visitors can explore authentic encampments, watch musket-firing demonstrations, learn about medical practices of the era, and witness civilian life reenactments from the 1860s.

Fire Safety and Family Fun
On Saturday morning, the Livonia Fire Department will host its annual Fire Prevention Open House at Fire Station #4.
